Procolored 250ML-5 DTF Printer Ink Refill and 500g Powder

Advantages of DTF Ink

  • White ink has strong covering power and good whiteness.
  • The compatibility of white ink and color ink is good, allowing for printing both with a larger amount without mutual penetration.
  • White ink and color ink are printed on the heat transfer film with high color density, no whitening, and bright colors.
  • After transfer, the hand feels soft with good stretchability and resilience.
  • High color fastness to dry and wet rubbing, color fastness to washing, and fastness to perspiration (above level 4).
  • The small text print is clear, the powder is evenly distributed on the ink, and the fastness is good.

How to Achieve DTF Printing

  • Modify an Epson printer to a DTF printer or purchase a DTF printer. Prepare a hot press machine, hot press sheets, oven, AcroRip9.03 software, and a consumable kit (DTF Ink, hot melt powder, PET films, cleaner, etc.).
  • Install AcroRIP software.
  • Set up AcroRIP, including ink settings such as “Print color first” and “Color+White.”
  • Print the design: print color first, then white.
  • Apply powder: shake the powder onto the PET film, let the hot melt powder stick to the printed pattern, and then shake off the excess powder.
  • Dry and melt: place the film into an oven, adjust the temperature to 140-150℃, and bake for 3-5 minutes. After baking, check if the melting is done properly.
  • Press: once the melting is complete, place the printed film on the prepared T-shirt, cover it with a hot press sheet, and press. Set the hot press temperature to 160-180℃ for 10-20 seconds. (For hot pressing sheets, use a Teflon sheet for a gloss finish, parchment paper for a semi-gloss finish, or kraft paper for a matte finish.)
  • Remove: take out the T-shirt and peel off the film. (All parameters are for reference only.)
