As more USB devices become available, the USB ports on the chassis are often insufficient. This device allows you to convert the USB 9-pin interface and audio on the motherboard into two USB 2.0 ports, a headphone output, and a microphone interface. It fits in the unused floppy drive bay, providing a convenient front USB and audio interface.

Additionally, many front panels on the market use AC-97 interface boards for cost reasons, but most motherboards now use the HD-AUDIO interface. This mismatch can result in no sound or inconsistent connectivity. Our panel provides a true HD-AUDIO interface to solve this problem.
